How Me And My Wife Became Barflies In Italy!
If it hadn't been for a mature dating site back in New Zealand, I would never have met my wife and we would almost certainly not be living in Italy right now. I would almost certainly never have discovered the Barfly Music Club in Ancona as well, and had some of the best nights out of my life.
It's quite extraordinary and maybe even a little bit scary that one dating site could have made such huge changes to my life for the better!
My wife was able to take early retirement for long service with the education department that she worked for, and that is why we decided to emigrate to Italy on my constant badgering of her because I visited there as a student and was desperate to go back! It really is a wonderful part of the world and because I love my live music, it is all the better for me as far as I'm concerned. Not everyone will get to move to Italy off the back of using a mature dating site but I'm glad that I did!
